Life after lockdown

At last - we can go out and go rowing. It has been a long time coming but I am so happy to be able to see family and friends and go rowing with no restrictions.

As I was ill for most of last year - first with mild Covid and then with Long Covid - it is so joyful for me to be feeling back to normal and able to do all the things I used to do.

Coastal rowing is still my favourite past time. There were many times last year when I thought I would never be able to row again and this was unbearable to contemplate. Now I savour every moment when I am out on the water.
